It's not the photographer some much as it is the camera. The right equipment for the right job. He did what he could with what he had to work with. Agreed? The subject matter, on the other hand, is great! :D

Thanks much for the comments. Yeah, they should be nude. A nude swim meet would be very awesome! The USA appears to be far behind Europe and other places that are body free. Even at nude places teen boys and girls are very rare leaving mainly just young kids and older folk. Boys these days often wear those ultra-long shorts even down to the calves or ankles that just look weird. Unfortunately the green boys didn't do so well at this 2 day event. They even came in very last in many of the races. Too bad. Yup, there's some picture blur for sure. Thanks for noticing. I see factors such as the camera, it's settings by the operator [me], .... Maybe there's a reason why they stopped making this camera.

I also agree. As girls suits became more skimpy, boys suits became more modest, and silly looking, at the same time. Speedo leaves very little to the imagination in most cases. I can understand why it is being said here that they might as well swim nude. At any case, I must be a bigger armature because I don't see anything wrong in this photo, and so many others. The green suited boys in this photo capture look amazing. Very good looking young swimmers who wear their speedos well. Thank you for introducing us to them.

Thanks Maddog. I appreciate your encouragement. It's also good to know what others really think - or communicate although anon can go different ways. I did have focus problems with the camera and saw it go out of focus at times when I tried auto-focus. I'm currently playing with it at high speeds. I'm thinking of 300 fps some upcoming Martial Arts stuff although it can go to 1kfps at lower pixel sizes. Yeah the green boys are very nice, especially these 2. Yeah, I felt bad for them doing so poorly. I later saw some of the same guys playing water polo and they were pretty good although I don't have a clue on that sport. I wonderedd what they did with the horses - lol.

Thanks! I've kind of been in the background over the years and really like your posts! Yeah, it was a nice time attending the swim meet, but unfortunately I didn't see/ recognize any of these guys the next year.
