I remember back in the 1980's and 1990's when tails (rattails) were popular. I think in 8th grade our junior high school team every boy had a long tail except 2 or 3 of us. Had a game with one team, every boy on the field from both teams had a tail including me after I finally got the 2nd haircut in 4 years leaving a rattail that was past the middle of my back, I had the longest tail out of all the boys. Our nickname was the "Rattail Soccer Boys" that year.
