When taking photographs of these mosaics, I have got nearly arrested. A Russian policeman tried to detain me on the ground that it is forbidden to take photos in the metro. But I checked the rules beforehand - without flash it is legal. I was not using flash, so in the end he had to release me.

I'm guessing it was an excuse for him attempting to arrest, he is probably just targeting whoever pays more than average amount of attention to the male nudity ( beyond passing by or beyond having a glimpse ) out of homophobia.
