Today (August 23,2008) 20yo Matthew Mitcham made history!!! He is the first Gay Olympic Gold Medalist (in the Men's 10m Platform)... Mitcham made headlines in Australia when he revealed to the Sydney Morning Herald that he is gay, becoming one of the first Australian athletes to do so. Congrats to him and his bf Lachlan!
