He's at summer camp, and the other boys talk him into a "camping trip" on the island in the middle of the lake. Then, they forcibly strip him down and leave in their canoes, stranding him there, naked. (Though, fortunately, the camera shots cut off above the waist and below the knee, cause it's a family movie.)

When he takes shelter in a cabin/equipment locker, he finds that the girls had pulled the same trick on one of their own, leaving a blanket and a deck of "dirty" playing cards. Realizing that they'd been set up, he convinces the girl to leave with him. So, they leave the island and swipe some clothes from a cabin, and ditch summer camp altogether.
