I think this is, technically, illegal. 4.USC.8.d states "The flag should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery." However this section is only binding on agencies of the Federal government, and enforcement is probably a violation of the First Amendment to the Constitution in any case. That having been said . . .
